It must have been an extraordinarily uneventful weekend at the Ministry..
There are NO new updates on the "updates" board in the Intranet.
I'm having an uneventful Monday morning, but then I don't think a Monday morning has ever been eventful. And this is good.
As always, I'm hoping the day will pass by quietly and that no one will ask me to do anything that requires more energy than typing up this post. But then, as always, I fear that if that actually happens, I'll be bored out of my wits (again), so I'd better think of things to do during the afternoon.
The textbook answer would be to work on my new assignment.
But I'm not so keen about this assignment. It seems boring and time-consuming.
I should really get started, since I was given the task last Tuesday (I think).. but there's no deadline or mid-term checkpoints or whatever, so I'm letting myself loose.
Today was one of those rare days when I had a lunch appointment.
But it's been postponed to next Wednesday.
No wonder I felt like looking for places to lunch on the way to work.
