phone calls

I hate making or receiving phone calls.
I prefer written or face-to-face communication.
There is something intimidating about phone calls.
I hate it when I have to keep saying "Pardon? Excuse me? Sorry?" because the connection is crappy.
I hate the fact that I can't say anything 'in someone's face' during a phone call.

The person I have to reach is not getting the phone today.
And I answered around a hundred phone calls, none of which were for me.

What a tiresome afternoon...
