(Unsolicited) Advice for people who have been admitted to law school and are thinking about deferring for a year: DO IT.

(Unsolicited) Advice for people who have been admitted to law school and are thinking about deferring for a year: DO IT. JUST DO IT.

And use that time wisely: take classes that emulate first-year law school classes. Work as a paralegal (I would advise that you do this straight out of college for 2~3 years before going to law school).

Or just fu*king take a bar review course or a FYLSE review course if those things are not available to you. The courses may look expensive, but there are *relatively* cheap online courses available. So DO IT.

Don't be stupid and be like, oh I'm going to take a year to ENJOY my life before the hell gates of 1L open~~~ YOLO~~~ That is just being dumb, and you can have the time of your life after you're done with the bar exam (assuming you've passed).

JUST SHUT UP AND do everything in your power to TAKE A BAR REVIEW COURSE or a 1L-prep course before you actually start law school. KNOW THE LAW before you start 1L.  It will be SO WORTH IT. I PROMISE.

You will be so thankful I gave you this advice. It will be the best advice you ever listen to. This is the best advice that no one ever gave me, so here it is, available on the internet for everyone to see.
